Yuni Sameshima is a rising senior at Colgate University, double majoring in Economics and Molecular Biology. Passionate about learning how things work, Yuni tackled the challenge of majoring in two completely different majors. He spent one summer as an analyst at Brean Murray Carret & co, a small investment bank specializing in small cap companies, before joining ff Venture Capital this summer. At school he was the business manager of his a capella group and enjoys travelling the country in their stretch limousine.
In his free time, Yuni can be found hitting the course, serenading strangers, and trying to figure out life’s tiny, intricate problems.
Jackie Ho is a rising junior at Columbia University, majoring in Economics-Math with a concentration in Computer Science. She has a strong interest in tech startups and interned at Peek, a mobile company targeting featurephones, during the summer while interning at ffVC. Outside of her studies, she is a talented graphic designer who maintains a blog and personal website. She seeks to combine her strong visual/design background with her growth in technical/front end programming skills as she explores the great opportunities in New York's brimming tech scene.
Outside the professional world, Jackie serves on the boards of several on-campus organizations and enjoys photography and film making. She is also launching her own design agency at Columbia.
Miles Frankel is an undergraduate in computer engineering at Case Western Reserve University who loves to code. In his copious spare time, he reads science fiction novels and biographies of Kurt Cobain, and listens to tons of music. He also plays rock drums and guitar, and is in a four-man garage band called The Live Wires. Music is the great love of Miles' life, and he is working to combine this with his love of all things computer-related.
We always welcome applications for future internships.
