ffVC Partner John Frankel appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box this morning to discuss InteraXon’s new headset, Muse, as well as how disruptors in the portfolio are carrying forward the content revolution. He used GameSalad (a platform for designing video games by dragging and dropping objects rather than writing code) and 500px (an online community and marketplace for photographers) as examples of how technology is powering the content revolution by enabling individuals with talent or good ideas to be content producers. He also discussed Indiegogo and Klout before moving on to the InteraXon demo, in which a subject was able to collapse diffuse particles on her screen into a ball by simply focusing with her mind. When she relaxed, the particles moved apart again.
